Commercial Scaffolding – Ferrari Showroom, Artarmon

Stronghold were engaged by Reitsma to provide scaffold for a new showroom for Ferrari at Artarmon. The showroom was to be converted from office space at the top floor of the existing Maserati and Alfa Romeo showrooms on the Pacific Highway. The street elevation was fairly straight forward with easy truck access after 10am each day.

Propped, Beamed & Trollied

The rear elevation was a little more challenging with a large proportion of the scaffold being back propped from the lower car parks and various beam work required to maintain access to the car park floors. The material was delivered at the front and then carefully trollied through the car park floors to the rear.

Designer Scaffolding

The ground floor and first floor Maserati and Alpha Romeo showrooms are still open for all of the works. The client requested that we designed the scaffold so that as much of the showrooms are still visible from the Pacific Highway, we suggested just 7.5m open spans as they are easily achievable and didn’t really affect the costs.

Galvanized Cup Lock Scaffolding System

We used the galvanized cup lock system for this project and this scaffold took 2 weeks to erect.
