Commercial Scaffolding – Brentwood Retirement Village, Kincumber

This month Stronghold Hire Scaffolding Services were asked by one of our clients to provide a birdcage type scaffold for work to roof trusses at Brentwood Retirement Village in Kincumber. The work included removal and installation of roof trusses and beams so it could not be completed with EWP’s.

Kwik Stage Steel Scaffold Solution

The scaffolding system itself was extremely straight forward consisting of 33 x 2.4m x 2.4m bays and a working deck of just 6m. We used Kwik stage steel scaffold for this project.

A No Risk Scaffolding Provider

Kincumber is situated up on the Central Coast which is an area that Stronghold Hire scaffold services doesn’t usually cover as it is difficult to remain competitive to local scaffolding contractors. However, our client wanted to use us and not experiment with anyone else as they needed the job to run smoothly and it was imperative that the scaffold was erected within the 2 day period allocated to us.

Fortunately the bad weather held off during the erection stage and this was easily accomplished.

Productive Scaffolders Who Travel

Although the majority of our scaffold projects are located in Sydney we sometimes take on projects on the south coast in areas as far as Wollongong, to the North as far as Newcastle and also to the West as far as the Blue Mountains. For projects in these areas we have to take into consideration paid travel time to our employees, extra transport costs and sometimes accommodation, but we can often stay competitive due to the productivity of our scaffolders.
