Residential Aluminium Qwik Stage Scaffold in Clovelly
Stronghold Hire have recently been inundated with requests for small residential scaffolding projects.
Scaffolding for External Paintwork & Landscaping
The project featured was for a home in Clovelly which was undergoing external paintwork and landscaping work.
The painters on site were having some difficulty with their own scaffolds trying to reach some of the 2 story sections, especially up over the roof. More importantly, as the scaffolds were over 4m high, they needed to be installed by a licensed scaffolder and be certified for use.
Aluminium Kwik Stage Scaffold
They only required the scaffolds for one day and also needed access to areas around the back of the property, this is part of the reason we used aluminium kwik stage scaffold.
The scaffolds required at the rear were almost identical to the ones in the photograph so we decided it would be more cost effective recycling the scaffold material from the front around to the back. This suited the painters as they had some painting work to carry out inside whilst the re-location took place (3 hours work).
Minimum Disruption
We worked in with the landscapers and pool installers on site that were laying pipe work to the rear by suspending some of the legs of the scaffold. The recycle of the material also meant that there was a minimum amount of material being delivered causing less disruption to their own deliveries and work space.

We use our smaller vehicles such as the 3 ton truck and utes to cover these jobs and we try to organize the jobs so that the scaffold teams can carry out more than 1 small job per day, cutting costs to the client and ensuring we remain competitive.
